Testimonials

"I have enjoyed a very good business relationship with Cropland Biodiesel over the past two years. They are flexible and willing to accommodate my needs for equipment, related parts, and accessories. I look forward to doing business with Cropland Biodiesel well into the future."

Bob R., A very satisfied customer from Texas, USA

Rick H., a fruit grower from North Carolina, is using a Cropland Biodiesel machine (CLB-300) to produce his own fuel and develop a new cash crop for growers in his region. Currently, his wife is running the machine using sunflower seeds they purchased from an outside source. “We are probably spending about the same for fuel right now,” said Rick, but he expects their fuel costs to drop once they are able to harvest their own sunflower crop. The machine has been easy to run according to Rick. “My wife enjoys it,” said Rick. “Her only complaint is that the hopper is too small and she has to interrupt her reading to refill it.” Rick has found that his John Deere tractors run well on pure biodiesel. “This is a test model,” Rick said. If it proves to be profitable for him and local farmers, he plans to buy a bigger model.

Rich H., Fruit Grower from North Carolina

"I grow cotton seed in Texas and after seeing an ad for a seed press in an issue of Farm Show magazine I was curious. So, I decided to make a trip up to Lynden, WA to check out Cropland Biodiesel facilities and get a first hand view of these machines. Though it wasn't the prettiest or most complex piece of machinery I could see that it could easily get the job done and then some. I was sold and ended up buying a CLB-500 or 5 ton a day press. Interestingly enough, after setting up my press, everyone who's come in to see it has bought one as well. I've run 3 different types of seed through it; sunflower, canola, and cotton seed. All have ran great through the press. The biggest factor for success seems to be moisture content. You must have a moisture tester and seed that's at least above 12 to 14% moisture content or you'll be locking the press up."
